STENAPA is a non governmental, not for profit foundation that manages all the island’s protected areas (the Statia Marine Park, the Quill/Boven National Park as well as a young Botanical Garden) on the 11.8 square mile island of St. Eustatius.
Saba
Conservation Foundation (SCF)
The Saba Conservation Foundation (SCF) is a non governmental organization established
in 1987 with a mission to preserve and manage Saba's natural and cultural heritage.
The establishment of the Saba National Marine Park in 1987 assured the health
of the undersea environment and thus the sustainability of dive tourism, today
a major contribution to the island economy.
Caribbean
Research and Management of Biodiversity (CARMABI)
CARMABI is a foundation for natural resource and park management, natural science
research and nature education located on Curacao. CARMABI provides facilities
and logistical support to visiting researchers and graduate students, manages
nine protected areas on Curacao, runs an educational program and produces annually
about 25 scholarly publications and reports.
